Claudio Di Mario – President & Founding Partner

Claudio Di Mario was born in Rome, Italy, in 1970. He is married and has one daughter and one son.
He is currently President and founding partner of EfficiencyKNowSrl, a company specialized in strategic, regulatory, engineering, technical and digital communication consulting in energy, energy efficiency and ICT, and CEO and owner of ADL Consulting Srl a company of strategic consulting for business.
Prior to this, he was Head of Public Affairs of Edison SpA from 2007 to 2011.
Previously he was based in TernaSpA Italian Transmission System Operator (from December 1999 to December 2007) finally as Head of National and European Regulation. He had the task of supporting and defining a clear assessment to the top management about all regulatory aspects on electrical market framework (Italian and European). Taking care of Regulator and Authorities consultation process and deliberations he set and created the company opportunities on tariffs and non-regulated business as well.
From 1997 to 1999 he was based in Berlin and Erlangen at Siemens AG as Project Manager for engineering, procurement and installation of high voltage components and devices.
Claudio holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from “La Sapienza” University in Rome and a Ph.D. in management engineering with a final dissertation in power system economics and a Master in business engineering and Award 2009 from “Tor Vergata” University in Rome. Expert in Energy Management according to UNI CEI 11339.
