Francesco Scolaro – Policy Manager

Francesco Scolaro was born in Policoro, Italy, in 1982. Since September 2013 he’s Policy Manager at EfficiencyKNow, where he’s responsible for the analysis of the energy legislation at regional, national and European levels. Previously, he collaborated with Cattaneo Zanetto & Co. from March 2012 to September 2013, monitoring Italian and European legislation in the energy field. From March 2011 to January 2012 he collaborated with Senate’s Standing Committee 10° “Industry”, mainly on issues in range of energy, insurance and industrial relations. In 2010, he collaborated for six months with Democratic Party’s International Department at Chamber of Deputies, mainly on issues in range of energy, industrial relations, development cooperation, electoral legislation and UE Countries relations. He collaborated with NGO’s “Un Ponte per…” planning “Medlink – Intrecci Mediterranei 2007” conference. He holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in “European parliamentary institutions and constitutional history”, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in “Political Science” and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in “Political Science and International Relations” from “Sapienza” University of Rome.
